Mrs. Trisna : “First, do you have any problems at school ?”
Linda : “Not, yet. And now, what are our topic ?”
Mrs. Trisna : “Now, we will talk about Dolphin. Write down a paragraph about it.”
Linda : “May be I can do it, if you give me some question.”
Mrs. Trisna : “Ok, listen ! Can you mention the parts of dolphin ?”
Linda : “There are tail fluke, dorsal fin, eye, beak, flipper, and blowhole.”
Mrs. Trisna : “How long do baby dolphins stay with their mothers ?”
Linda : “It is about 2 until 3 years.”
Mrs. Trisna : “But, older dolphins like to travel all together in groups. Now, write down it !”
Linda : “It’s easy . . . !!! Oh no !!!
Mrs. Trisna : “What happen ?”
Linda : “I’m forget that I have a problem.”
Mrs. Trisna : “About what ?”
Linda : “I don’t understand about this one.”
Mrs. Trisna : “This is about algebra and circles.”
Linda : “Why did I get question a. wrong ?”
Mrs. Trisna : “You forgot to write down +5 when you collected together the constant and you made a mistake when you collected together x terms.”
Linda : “Oooo . . . And why did I get question b. wrong?”
Mrs. Trisna : “You forgot to multiply the terms in the second bracket by 1.”
Linda : “I see … I see . . . !”
Mrs. Trisna : “What do you get if you expand bracket x plus3 close bracket, open bracket 7 minus x close bracket ?”
Linda : “Wait a view minutes. Mmm . . . you get minus x squared plus 4 x plus 21.”
Mrs. Trisna : “You are right.”
Linda : “Teach me about circle, please!”
Mrs. Trisna : “A diameter divides a circle into two equal areas called . . .”
Linda : “Semi-circles. And a chord divides a circle into two areas, what is it
called ?”
Mrs. Trisna : “ It is called segments. The larger area is called the major segments. And
the smaller area is called the minor segments.”
Linda : “What is the formula for the area of a circle ?”
Mrs. Trisna : “Area equals pi times the radius squared.”
Linda : “What is pi ?”
Mrs. Trisna : “There are 2 pi, those are 3.14 and 22/7.”
Linda : “If the r is 7, we use 22/7. Isn’t it ?”
Mrs. Trisna : “Yes, of course. And how about your physics test ?”
Linda : “I’m lose in physical changes.”
Mrs. Trisna : “How can ?”
Linda : “I didn’t know, solid change to liquid, liquid change to gas. What are
they called ?”
Mrs. Trisna : “Solid change to liquid is called melting. And liquid change to gas is
called boiling.”
Linda : “How about stone ? Is it liquid or solid ?”
Mrs. Trisna : “Liquid …! Let’s remember first semester. I want to know your
remembrance.”
Linda : “Ok. I’m ready.”
Mrs. Trisna : “How does a worm breath ?.”
Linda : “By skin.”
Mrs. Trisna : “Goldfish ?.”
Linda : “Hmm … Maybe lungs.”
Mrs. Trisna : “No ..no… It use gills. Give me the example a food chain!”
Linda : “Grass is eaten by grasshopper. Grasshopper is eaten by frog. Frog is eaten by snake. Snake is eaten by eagle. Eagle is eaten by micro organism.”
Mrs. Trisna : “Ok …three questions, you have a mistake !.”
Linda : “Oh . . . I’m so tired !! can we stop to talk ?”
Mrs. Trisna : “Of course . . . my student, because it’s 5 o’clock p.m. Times to stop this private.”
